I just finished watching Romulas, my father.
Definitely not a film to watch if you are feeling down, but a really strong portrayal of what life was like for early immigrants to Australia, with enough funny bits to make it not a downer.
I guess things have improved, but there are so many people working as cleaners, in clothing factories in Melbourne, corner stores, all sorts of things who this probably still rings true for….
