A few weeks ago I went on a day walk with a local meetup group to Lizard Point. The route is steep, was very muddy and slippery. To add to the fun it was pretty badly overgrown making navigation a little challenging. Along with the way you get a view over S.E Queensland’s highest mountain, Mt Superbus, a small little pimple on the ridge line. You also go through Mt Roberts, not that you would know if there wasn’t a Cairn to show that spot is actually a summit!
Once you get past the slog the view over Main Range and the Steamers is spectacular.
