My nieces wedding up in Port Douglass was the perfect reason to escape Brisbane winter and head up to warmer climates. Yes I know that Brisbane doesn’t really have winter but FNQ is like summer! It was only a short trip but we’ve never been up to Daintree National Park before so it was a good time to look around. FNQ has lots of massive, superbly green, trees; big waterfalls; gorgeous beaches; coffee and chocolate plantations; colourful birds; and really BIG lizards that swim….
