Last night I went to see the Gotan Project, they are a really cool mix of Tango with French DJ dance music. Everything from traditional tango’s with beats through to rap (with unfortunately recorded voice overs). They took a song or two to settle into the location, but once they were into it, the feel really worked…
My first instrument was a Piano Accordion, hearing the way they blend the sounds it makes me want to take it up again!
I’m not sure how well they’d translate to an album, but live they were a lot of fun.
